silhouettes + cookies

These custom silhouette cookie cutters from The Victor Trading Co. are brilliant! Possibly the best silhouette idea I've seen yet.

sail away

My parents are in town so we're taking them on a sailing cruise this weekend. Reminds me of the schooner from our wedding. Sigh.

Happy weekend!

total customization

eShakti is the best thing since sliced bread. For real. You can completely customize their clothes to fit your bod. From sleeve length to neckline, you can make your duds 100% you!

So amazing. Has anyone tried eShakti out?

{Thanks for the tip, @kvetchingeditor!}

Flutter flutter

Nothing says summer like pretty collors dancing in the breeze.  These photos make me want to sip from a glass of pink lemonade.

a new kind of tote

We've seen color-your-own dresses and shower curtains, so it's only fitting that Anthropologie has a new Color-Me-Paisley Tote! Kinda cute.

i've been iPadded

I got an iPad. Well actually, my mom and the husb got it for me for my birthday, but I got one! So far I love it. Now...to pimp it out.

I could totally rock this pop garden iPad case from Wallaby Bag Co.

And I adore this iPad docking station from woodtec.

Decisions, decisions.

Eight months down

Sorry for the radio silence recently, my lovely readers!  I've been running around trying to tie up all the loose ends so we are ready for Baby Spadt, whenever she arrives.

Our wonderful photographer friend snapped some shots of us in Memorial Park and I just have to show off.  (More photos of me and my also preggo sister-in-law to come soon!)

Did you know you can build your own bicycle at Urban Outfitters? This is (awesome) news to me!

Ready, set, GO!

brushing up on my french

In t minus 7 days we'll be on the road to Montreal for the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Cananda! We'll be spending a lot of time at the track doing things the husb wants to do, but I intend to see all Montreal has to offer and do some shopping as well.

Neither of us has been before. Is there anything we must do? A hefty portion of poutine is definitely on our list! What else?

TOMS + wedges = love

TOMS just introduced wedges! Now that's something I'll wear.

long weekends are wonderful

I can't believe it's already Wednesday and I haven't even mentioned the goodness that ensued over my long weekend yet.

I spent Saturday doing house things and making these fun sewn bunting cards. I made them for personal use so they're not available in our shop, but email us if you just HAVE to have them!

On Sunday the husb and I headed up to NYC for the day. It was a beautiful, perfect day. We saw Mamma Mia on Broadway, finally went to Serendipity 3 for frozen hot chocolates the size of my head and did a little shopping. I picked up this awesome Kate Spade bag from the mecca of Kate Spade stores. The color is really much more stellar in person.

Then on Monday we attended the GORGEOUS wedding of one of my very best friends. We had such a good time, and I even did a little dancing (that's me in the yellow dress and black belt). The best part is Chavi and Evan are finally MARRIED! Congrats you two! BTW, we did their awesome wedding invites, which we'll be showing off soon.

Here's to long weekends (and short weeks)!

We're designing the most lovely tea party bridal shower invites and this pillow from Olive is the perfect inspiration.
